Because our products are exclusively digital and delivered via instant download, we have a strict policy regarding refunds to protect our intellectual property.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. The General Rule: All Sales are Final

Due to the intangible nature of digital downloads, all sales are strictly final and non-refundable. Once you purchase and download a template, document, or guide from our WooCommerce store, the transaction is complete. We cannot accept returns, issue refunds, or offer exchanges simply because you changed your mind, found a similar resource elsewhere, or decided not to implement the management system.

2. Understanding the Nature of Our Products

Our products include ISO management system documentation, HSE templates, HACCP/BRCGS food safety documents, SOPs, risk assessments, audit checklists, and training slide decks.

  • These are templates, not consulting services. They require your organization to input company-specific details to be fully compliant.
  • Refunds will not be issued based on claims that a document “did not pass an audit” or “did not result in certification,” as the successful implementation of any compliance system depends entirely on how the templates are adapted, implemented, and managed by your organization.

3. Exceptions: When a Refund MAY Be Considered

We understand that technical issues can occasionally occur. We may issue a refund or a replacement file under the following specific circumstances:

  • Duplicate Purchases: If you accidentally purchase the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate order provided you have not downloaded the duplicate files. (Note: If you purchased two different products that happen to contain overlapping templates, this does not qualify as a duplicate purchase).
  • Technical File Corruption: If a file is genuinely corrupted or fails to open after download, please contact us immediately. We will first attempt to send you a replacement file in a different format. If we are unable to provide a working file, a refund will be issued.
  • Misrepresentation: If a product is fundamentally and materially different from its description on the product page (e.g., you purchased an ISO 9001 manual but received an ISO 14001 manual), we will gladly replace it with the correct file or issue a full refund.

4. How to Request a Refund (Under Eligible Exceptions)

If you believe your situation falls under one of the eligible exceptions listed above, you must contact us within 7 days of your purchase.

To initiate a request, please email us at info@standardsunlimited.com with the following information:

  • Your Order Number (found in your order confirmation email)
  • The exact name of the product(s) purchased
  • A clear explanation of the issue
  • Any relevant screenshots (e.g., error messages when trying to open a file)

Important: You must not distribute, share, or use the downloaded files while a refund request is pending. Requesting a chargeback directly through your bank or credit card issuer before contacting us to resolve the issue will void any possibility of a refund and may result in your account being permanently banned from our store.

5. Processing Time

If your refund request is approved under the exceptions listed in Section 3, it will be processed within 5 to 7 business days. The refund will be credited back to the original method of payment used during checkout (e.g., credit card, PayPal). Please note that your bank or payment processor may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to reflect the refund in your account.

6. Pre-Sale Questions

Because we do not offer refunds for “change of mind” or if the product does not perfectly fit your specific business needs, we highly encourage you to ask questions before purchasing.
